Would like to know if DVC will sell small add on contracts in place of one large contract. Maybe four 25 point contracts instead of one hundred point contract. Are there any closing fees for adding on through Disney?

Minimum add-on is 25 points if pay cash, 50 points if you finance. Closing costs are now charged on all add-ons.

And breaking it up into multiples increases the closing costs although it isn't a huge amount.

Twenty five points aren't going to get you much at all. Even 100 isn't going to get you much. You can't combine these with non-PVB points until seven months out.

We already own points at BCV and would want another resort so we could bank and borrow points. I would want several smaller contracts because they seem to be easier to sell than one large contract. Still, I may want to wait for contracts to show up on the resale market :) But that could take forever!

I would go with 50 point contracts over 25 point. On the resale market they would probably go for the same price.

Historically they have been willing to break them up when buying more total. So 100 points broken up into 4*25 is possible. I'm not sure if they charge more for closing in this situation, there wasn't any closing when we did this exact thing a few yrs ago. What you can't do from what I understand is do this AND get a fixed week deed at the applicable resorts though I'm not sure anyone has really tried hard to be sure it would be rejected.

100 point contracts sell very well also and there are actually fees per contract to sell also. For Poly 25 points is not going to be much at all.

this.

with poly's point cost per night and higher overall cost, most people won't be shopping for a 25 pt poly contract. 50 is better in this case.
