About 3 weeks out from our trip....what apps/info should I be aware of?

Wondering what apps I should get downloaded for wait times, etc. I don't mind if it's a pay app if it works good. Also, I've heard some attractions are not "connected" so you can get a FP from those rides, and get another from a "connected" ride. Does anyone have a listing of all the "disconnected" FP attractions? Any other advice for lines, FP, wait times, etc. is welcome.

I do expect to be hitting RD each day at CA for RSR. The other thing that will definitely be of interest is the Baymax/Hiro meet 'n greet, are they together or do you get one or the other?

Also, how do Early Magic Entry days work? Are they only on certain days?

Oh, and for me, what's the quickest way to get my In 'n Out fix if we're staying at the Camelot Inn?

TIA

Apps are only as good as the people using them in the park. They rely on people to input valid times. If people post incorrect times or fail to input times, the app is useless.

There are no longer any "disconnected" FP. At one time, Screamin' and Roger Rabbit were disconnected, but they were connected back about a year ago. The parks are disconnected from one another, so you can get a FP in DCA and one in Disneyland.

The nearest is 600 S. Brookhurst Anaheim, CA 92804. There is a new one opening on Ball, but not sure of when.

I am going to be using the Lines App for our trip. I have heard good things about it and that it is pretty accurate for wait times. Although not so good a predicting crowd levels. I can't remember how much I paid to the subscription, but I know I got a discount because I had bought the unofficial guide to Disneyland book. It was pretty reasonable.

Good Luck and I hope you come back tell us how it all went!:)

I remember a while back there was an app which you could use through Verizon for best results and other networs with a little less functionality. Shame it is not around any more.

Of course I find I have to bring my Halo charger with me since my iPohne drains fast at DLand, LOL.

I've used Mousewait on several occasions and it seems to be fairly accurate. It has a large, established and seemingly loyal user base to draw from.

So, there's no longer an "offical" Disneyland app showing wait/Fastpass times?

Magic mornings are only offered on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It is one hour early admission to Disneyland Park only (NOT DCA, unless you're staying in a disneyland resort hotel) and magic morning is only offered on 3 day or more tickets purchased in advance and online, not purchased at the box office

Thanks for all the info thus far. And I should state, we have iPhones.

Not sure exactly when you will arrive but note magic mornings/early entry are EVERY DAY AT BOTH PARKS from Dec 20 probably till new years (I was only looking at the first week). So if you are staying off site (like me) there will really be no rope drop advantage but still try to get there as early as you can to make regular opening as I am sure it will just get busier and busier as the day progresses. We'll probably start most days at DL and hit the left side since it will be opening at regular opening and should start out less crowded (at least that's what I'm banking on - who knows - they may open up the whole park to onsite guests during those weeks). I really wish we had chosen to stay on site for this trip but it would have meant staying 2 nights instead of 4 and with 1 travel day on either side for driving we went with 4 nights offsite.

We'll be arriving on December 25th and departing on December 30th. We'll be in the parks December 26th (Friday) - December 29th (Monday).

With me being a CPA, onsite was not going to happen. :rotfl:

I did actually look into renting points, but just couldn't justify it for the way we are (rope drop 'til close).

You can still use Mousewait. We downloaded the free version from the app store for our trip and found it fairly accurate a couple years ago, never saw a need to upgrade to the paid version.
