AbD Private Jet - What do you want to know?

I wasn't able to see the dragon in the dungeon when I was there. So for me it's just the enchanting exterior and it's setting. :)

Since the cost is no longer listed on the website, thought I'd let you know it was $115,000 per person!

Sayhello

$115K? Wow, for some odd reason, I thought it was $75K/per person

Taking the cost out of it.

Looking at the experiences individually. Were there things you just did as they were part of the package that you wouldnt have done if you were in that location on a standalone trip?

If you were in the locations as a standalone trip, are there things you would go back and repeat on your own?

Are there things you would add or remove or change if you were to to the package again?

Did you get burn out or hit a wall? I ask this as I'm following some people on the Serenade of The Seas world cruise. They are at the middle point and some are at the wall, as in the novelty and excitement of a new country, city experience has worn out.

Were there any kids, and their approx ages?

Youngest was 21, had his birthday on the Taj Mahal day. There were a few other 20-somethings as well. Next youngest was 33. All the “youngsters” were traveling with older family members.

There’s very little that happened in the Disney locations that I wouldn’t do again, maybe only the Tri-Circle D Ranch? I’d go tour the laundry again in a heartbeat, that was fascinating, and the CM there was so excited to show us around. The Ranch CM, not so much.

I’ve mentioned previously that we wouldn’t have bothered with the Taj Mahal or the Pyramids if those weren’t stops. I’m glad to have seen them, but those are definitely one and done locations for us. Those are the things I’d leave out, maybe tack an extra day onto some of the parks.

The other reason to skip Egypt and India is the water. That’s the point in the trip that almost everyone had a case of Mummy Tummy, even though we were all being super careful about only using bottled water for anything.

I was a bit tired of fancy food and glad-handing speeches by CEOs by the end of the trip. They were all very nice, very personable, very interesting, but wow, they do tend to blend together a bit after a while, and I was definitely craving a burger or chicken nuggets towards the end.

The only other sort of negative was luggage. Luggage handling was super organized, and Guide Nancy, the Luggage Queen, was a total dynamo. Generally, you had both your small wheelie bag and your large suitcase at every stop. Your large bag was usually picked up from your room the last night, and your wheelie bag the last morning…but around 5:30am, even though departure wasn’t until a few hours later. So, you either had to get up and get ready by that time so you could be done with all your toiletries and such, or you had to have travel size toiletries that could go into your knapsack and thus had to go through screening at the airport. I get why, since they took bags to the airport separately and Nancy dealt with luggage tags, checking and loading, etc. That part was so nice. But I didn’t bring nearly enough travel size toiletries to be able to sleep in past bag collection. Worked out okay, since I just went to bed earlier and got up earlier, staying on the previous time zone in most cases, but we did skip fireworks a few times to facilitate that. Wasn’t an issue for us, since we really aren’t nighttime spectacular fans, but people that were had a tough choice, thus the fact that so many people were zonked out on the plane.

We had Byron on the Rhine River cruise last year. He was great.
We had him on the Christmas Rhine River cruise in 2017, I think? It might have been one of his first tours, if I'm remembering correctly (it was a while ago...). Time flies! I'm so excited to see he's still with the company and doing well-I mean, I'd think this level of tour is "doing well."

@OKW Lover -were Terry and Rebecca the couple who lived in Orlando too? Love them! and seriously...any castle with a dragon WINS! I'm with @sayhello there...

okay, sorry to disrupt your thread @bookbabe626 ...this has been super fun to read and experience vicariously, thanks!
