ABD Med cruise add on

I was wondering if this was offered in the past when DCL went to the Med and if so what was the cost? We are booked on a 7 night Med in June of 2013 and would consider adding this on, potentially if the cost was not out of our budget. Thanks in advance for any info !

The Med ABD add-on was offered both in 2010 & 2011.

Here are the prices from last year (the prices jumped $200 for the 11/12 night add-on from 2010 to 2011, so I'd expect something similar for this year):

Mediterranean:

Med 7-night cruise add-on

Adult $2299
Child $2069

Med 10/11-night cruise add-on

Adult $2699
Child $2429

Barcelona 4 day/3 night pre-cruise add-on (again, can be booked separate from the cruise add-on. Pricing is totally separate)

Adult $1799
Child $1619

We did the 7-night add-on last summer, along with the Barcelona pre-cruise add-on. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Without question it was pricey, but we walked away feeling like it was worth every dollar. Oh, the memories we have! The announcement that the trips will be running again this year is just the push I need to finally get to work on that trip report I've been meaning to do...stay tuned!

Well I have been away from this forum for to long! Really excited to see all the great trip reports! We are booking our Europe cruise when we sail the Fantasy in May. We are shooting for the June 15th 2013 sailing to Greece.

I really want to do the ABD portion of the cruise so that is probably going to require us to stay inside unless we and a crazy awesome deal when we book onboard.

Anyhoo! Very excited as we were not able to go on the first round of Med cruises and I LOVE the fact that Greece in on this time around!

HG, ABD stopped doing the $100 off for repeat customers a couple of years ago, and as far as I know, still aren't offering it. What they are offering this year (if you're a member of the Adventures Insider Club) is to pay for your transportation to and from your house & the airport (as long as you book by Feb 29, 2012). Unfortunately, I asked ABD, and this offer only applies to land tours, and does not apply to the Cruise add-ons (I'm assuming it's because DCL really runs the admin show for the add-ons). They recommended calling DCL to see if they were offering any perks for return travelers. I haven't had a chance to do that yet.

Oh, and if you haven't joined the Adventures Insider Club yet, you can do that at https://www.adventuresbydisney.com/adventure-insiders/ If you missed all the drama, it's not the best run program. They have a tendency to forget some folks, and joining on the website doesn't always seem to work (I had to call ABD directly and have them add me).

Don't know if they are going to offer a new promotion after the current one expires.
