ABD Discounts for DCL onboard booking

We learned on this last cruise, that we can do an ABD placeholder (good for 2 years, fully refundable if not booked)and get up to $250 pp off a ABD land package. I think it is only $100 pp off a short weekend or DCL add on ABD package. I can not find this documented anywhere. Does anyone have any links to where this is documented

I don't know where this is documented, but I'd like to add here that it was reported that someone with a placeholder was denied the $500 per person early booking discount because the booking was not considered a new booking. So they ended up losing money.

I would assume that is the case, but figured if I could do the early booking, I would book getting the $500 discount and cancel the placeholder, getting back my deposit and applying the money returned to the new one.
