Well, I think we can probably blame the busy seasons we're all approaching for the silence on the thread, far before calling you a thread killer...

I haven't been able to focus on this trip planning yet either. I vowed to do all this reading of my Disney books before the trip, and I haven't had a chance to read anything related yet. I guess we have "a few" months before the trip to get our priorities straight.

No dead threads yet...but man oh man this time of year is nuts busy!

I'm sure things will pick up in the new year and for me, after our trip to WDW in Feb. Starting to think about that more - especially paying it off. Have to say Beth at Dreams Unlimited has been very good in arrangements etc., Getting very curious about what it will be like at Caribbean Beach having only stayed at Pop Century and All Stars before.

Im working 57 hours a week right now, until that's done I can't think about either vacations I have planned. I did take a few minutes and see some flights to LA... but that's it.

I need to make sure my store hits plan for the year, then I know my bonus will be good. Then I can start to plan a bit more.

The Caribbean Beach rooms are nicer than those at Pop and the All Stars. I'm sure you heard Kevin's review of Shutters and know what to do about that establishment... The resort is really pretty and tropical in appearance, but it is REALLY spread out. On the other hand, if you have time to get around, you can certainly get in plenty of walking depending on where your room is located in relation to the main building and food court.

I'm having a crappy day but figured you guys would understand, I heard this morning that a friend (and client) broke his neck at the weekend.

He's alive and has feeling in his limbs but I feel sick about it.

Trying to feel positive but just feel crappy.

That's terrible!! I know you feel bad, but staying positive might help your friend... stay strong! We will definitely keep you and your friend in our thoughts and prayers!

I'm so sorry about your friend! I'll keep you and your friend in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your friend will improve with medicine and other medical help and time. Be sad when you need to be, but try to keep strong and look at the positive things too - that he's alive, that he has feeling in his limbs, and that there's hope. Sending you and your friend and his family hugs from across the world...

I think I'm finally as ready for Christmas as I'm going to get! We've probably all been focusing on travel and/or the holiday season. We spent a bunch of time at WDW over the past several weeks, so we didn't get anything done until late in the game.

How about everyone else?

Christmas day hits here in about 6 hours but we don't celebrate it so its really just a summer holiday for us. We aren't back at work until 5th January so have a bunch of stuff to do around the home.

I wish those that do celebrate a very merry (and safe) Christmas.

I'm as ready as I can be for Christmas since we are on a train right now on are way to Disneyland to spend Christmas. We got the train this morning and won't reach Disneyland till tomorrow night. Hopefully we get to our hotel room before Santa does. My sister and I also put down a deposit for podcast cruise 3.0 hopefully we can make it this time.

Hello folks! Holidays here in the middle of Canada were Christmas card lovely - very snowy and decent temps (-5C). Had a quiet and restful holiday and good times hanging out with the DH and DS . Got my Keurig which is lovely. The DH and I took off to Las Vegas for 5 days in mid Dec. which was our pressie to ourselves. Got my gifts then - gotta love premium outlet malls! Coach bag, and new Nautica leather jacket Happy happy!!

Now it is the big count down to Feb in WDW!!! Waiting for our Magical Express stuff, and our itinerary from Beth at Dreams Unlimited
