ABD 2010: Disers Go West - Let the Fun Begin

The Great White Truck arrived in Kentucky, the DVD is wonderful. :cool1: It looks like the photos on the DVD are the same as the PhotoPass site.

Jim & Linda

Alissa- we have missed you on the boards.
Dino and I had so much fun meeting you and because of the DISers on the ABD trip he agreed to go on the Podcast cruise
oh please try to get a roommate for the cruise. In addition to checking the roommate thread, send a PM to Tracy. She can help you out I'm sure - she can do everything!!!
You must be there, I'm bringing Reisling !!

Thank you! That is sweet of you to say. I had such a great time with you both. About the Reisling, I emailed the vineyard to find out where I can buy it in Spokane. I liked it THAT much! I will be going to one of the three locations in Spokane that carries it, none of which are near me!

Wow! I remember the conversation about which wine you should order at Steakhouse 55! I guess this means you did like it? We created a budding wine fan? That must be worth another asterisk! :)

First, I figured out the DVD and now have over 800 pictures :lovestruc I am SO HAPPY right now. I even teared up a little. I can admit that here. :goodvibes

Alissa: You must have a roommate. Get one at once. That's your first step. :cutie: Second, we're coming back over for the DL 1/2 in Sept. You can come wedge in with us in our hotel room if you want. We would love to have you. :flower3: Last, you must come back to our thread so you can admire my scrapbook pages. I need all the love I can get as SOMEONE in this house who shall remain nameless just sort of glances at them. Punk husband! ;)

Poor Jeri getting the beat down. :rotfl:

Just so you know Lauren I care. :)

I change Deb's blades in the Cricut for her. I'm supportive. :cheer2:

Oooh...is that the Reisling from Steakhouse 55? I had never tried a Reisling before and Bill (Tracy's husband) recommended it. I have never really been a fan of wine but I have to say I liked that. In fact, I had a couple of glasses of Reisling at dinner at Napa Rose the following night. :) I am not sure if they will have that brand in TX but I would love to know the name just in case.

I don't like wine. Well, until I tasted this. It is Dr Loosen. The website is www.drloosen.com. I used the "wine finder" link on the website and 3 days later I had a response from the vineyard about where I could find it in Spokane. I am shopping this weekend. :woohoo:

First and foremost, my heart goes out to you all dealing with painful family things now. I wish you all peace.

Second, I have been staying off the boards a lot since we got back from vacation. I have not even really looked at my pictures. I am having a VERY severe post-vacation depression! I don't have a trip planned and that is not the norm and I think it is playing havoc with my mind.

I would love to join you all on the cruise, but I don't think I can swing the cost of a single supplement and my kids can not get out of school and my DH will have used up his vacation time on dumb things like hunting by that time. So, I am feeling sorry for myself and I just can't muster enough happiness to relive the ABD trip. Yet. I know the time will come and it will be wonderful. But for now, I am trying to gather enough will just to come back to the boards and check stuff out.

I have been able to listen to the podcasts though. I am proud of myself! :)

And just to chime in on the CDs, I got nuthin'. But I got my ABD stuff later than most of you as well.

Take care!

I am so sorry to hear you are suffering with post trip depression.
I have been there and it is not pretty! Here's great big hug for you!:grouphug:

Have you checked out all your options regarding PCC#2?
I know there is a thread for people looking for roommates on the cruise thread and maybe that could be an option for you. If it's not have you thought about doing a small quick trip to the world arriving on Thursday December 16th, which is the day we get back from the cruise. As there are quite a few of us that will be doing a post cruise stay. There is also a DATW planned for the 17th. So at least we could be together for a little bit, and have some fun and relive some fantastic memories. :grouphug::grouphug:

It was fun on 1.0 so I'm sure Val & I will do it again on this one. Not so sure about the martini tasting. Not that it wasn't fun - we just realized we really don't care much for martinis. :scared1:

Great Wine! Its high on our list when we want to splurge!

:woohoo: A little white envelope was left on our doorstep this afternoon. I can't wait to check out the disc! :surfweb:

:goodvibes Jennifer

We got our little white package from ABD today! Yay!

I did the Martini tasting on PCC 1.0, but not the wine tasting. They were BACK-TO-BACK! Those who did both are TRULY dedicated (or something)!

:lmao:
