ABCs of Disney - Altered Rolodex Swap! ALL POSTAL 6/11! Enjoy!

Just checking in with everyone. My semester ended last week and I have been working on my "tribute to Walt Disney". Found the perfect size Mickey Mouse stickers to add! All of the cards I have seen so far look fabulous! This is quite the creative bunch. Looking forward to finishing up my cards by the end of the week. Have a good one, ladies!

I'm going to redo the backs of mine. I'm not happy with using the original rolodex card. So when I get my die cut back I will crank them out. If I don't get it back on time then I'll cut them by hand.

I finally finished cutting all of my bases and the second layer of embellie paper by hand. I'm working cutting out all of my little flags but I am stumped on how to create tiny little "It's a Small World" doll faces for my itsy-bitsy card.

Any ideas?

Buffy - your's are darling! Why are you "re-doing" them?

Is the smallest CM circle punch to big?? Or how about one of the hand held punches like the one you would use for punching holes in tags?

I'm not redoing the front but I used the rolodex dividers for the base but you can see it and it doesn't look good. I needed something sturdy because the Tink paper is thin. I want to use cardstock for the back. I'm just being anal.

I wanted to make paper piecings of the faces. I'm hoping I can get my Cricut Doodlecharms baby head to work so that I can embellish with hair, etc.

Joy, you have longer than the rest of us since you don't need to mail yours! At least not until the last of ours arrive. Hopefully they'll get there soon!

I'm working on mine some more today, but DD's migraine has been horrendous for the past week. She was hoping to finish hers over the weekend, but it's not looking good. She doesn't want me to do them for her, but I will if she can't finish in time to mail them by the 25th.

O M G you guys!! I just realized that I did the tab on the wrong side!! I did my original idea w/the tab on the R last month, and thought that was where it was supposed to be, so I didn't even bother to check again.

There's no way for me to fix this w/o re-doing the card, so I have to ask if you guys will accept them the way they are, and if not, I'll need an angel for my spot, because I just can't redo it.
(the tab is already attached on, the ribbon is stapled through it, and there is a hole punched through that side of the card for the brad....I can't just 'fix' it).
I'm very sorry!! I don't know why I thought I was supposed to do the right and not the left (and yes, I do know the difference... ) SORRY!!!

I think it's fine!! I bet it looks wonderful, and most days, I know that S comes after R and before T, regardless of what side the tab is on!! And on the days that my brain doesn't work well enough to figure that out. . .well, it wouldn't help to have the tab on either side!

I'm not going to stay up late at night fretting that all my tabs don't alternate properly.

I do appreciate your willingness to tell us about it upfront.

I can't wait to see what you made!!

PS-besides Rolie is only kinda on the right. He is more towards the middle than most tabs are.

Doesn't matter to me one way or another. If you could see my office, the location of the S will not impact my ability to keep stuff from getting lost. I'm sure it is wonderful, beautiful and really cool. Please, take this advice from someone who can give it but not take it, don't sweat the small stuff. (because, if you hadn't said anything, I probably would have not noticed.)

NO worries about that pesky tab... I wouldn't think twice about it.. probably wouldn't have even noticed until I put them all together.. and than just shrugged it off because once I attempt to fill it I wouldn't have thought any more about it!!!

No worries... don't let it bother you.. and besides.. if AWM can't weenie manuvuer out of this swap.. neither can you because the tab is on the wrong side! Nice try.. but that is too much money and time spent and we can't wait to see it!!!!
