ABC's of adoption????

Does anyone have an ABC's list of adoption to make an ABC book for scrapbooking?

Do you mean something like this:

A is for adoption

B is for birthparents

H is for heart; you were born in ours.

J is for the joy we felt when your birthparents picked us.

L is for the love we have for you.

M is for the months we waited for you (here you could put photos of and write things that you did while waiting for the little one)


That kind of ABC's list? Those are just some things that came to the top of my head. Or is there an official alphabet that you're looking for? HTH, at any rate!

H could also be for Homecoming or for Home Study.

C could be for Coming Home.

M could be for Meeting the family.

G could be for "Gotcha Day" -- when you went in front of the judge to finalize things.

B is for our baby showers (we were blessed w/ them for both of our girls)

C is for Chosen (by the birthparents & by God to be in our forever family)

D is for delighted with our phone call that we will be parents again

E is for the excitement we felt

F is for Forever Family

G is our God who blessed us!

G is for Grandparents

H is for Homestudy

H is for the home we live in

J is for the joy we feel

P is for Profile (& what a JOB is was to get done)

P is for all the paperwork we had to complete

S is for our wonderful Social Worker (we included her pix)

W is for welcome home

Z is for all the sleep we HOPE the baby gets

Aw, this thread is making me all misty. My sweet (almost 6 year old!) Zane was adopted at birth. I love all these simple reminders of what a true miracle adoption is!
