ABC Elements: Complete

Can the toppers be less than 8"? I'm OK for the height but because Icecream is quite short it looks weird that long:confused3

I'm not trying to short-change anyone, but with such a big expensive swap I want to be fair.

OK, so here's where I'm heading. These are not stuck or anything, they will be inked and have other embellishments, but this is the plan so far (darned Xyron mat has run out of stick so I'm 7 stawberry scoops short :headache:)

Ice cream

The I will be glittery, and the ice-creams will look more 3-d than this once they've been highlighted. I will swap the tag layers over I think so it rests on lavender with mint behind. There will also be 2 squares or possibly other shapes with stickers (you can see the packet at the bottom - I've got several of these!) and some sort of dimensional element to them - possibly pop dots. The stickers will also be on the titles and journal boxes, unless I decide to do single cones on those too (how I HATE doing those cones! - but they do look quite cute

The big orange T's will be striped with black stickles - I wanted the big T from the tag for the topper but it made it too big so i had to go for the smaller T. There will be 2 tags, the second will have tigger stickers and I've got some fluffy fibre for the tags (hope there's enough!) Stickers will also be on titles, journal boxes and photo mats - in fact anywhere as I got 11 packs (all they had in stock) without realising they were 2-sheet packs :headache: Guess what the hostess is going to get

I may end up with shaped tags - depends how quickly my Xyron mats get hre and how the card holds out:bitelip: I'm aiming on getting most cut out tomorrow morning so i can ink while I'm watching TV tomorrow evening. Any thoughts?

I really like those Mazda.

Today is the last day of school so I can start working on mine soon.

I have shopped for paper though. So now I just want to start playing around and getting ideas.

This is going to be a great swap.

How cuite. Those cones may be a pain but they sure are cuite. I think this is going to be my favorite swap so far. Cours i've only been in a total of 2:rotfl: .

I just love the colors you picked for the ice cream. I never would have thought of that combination myself. Which is why I love these swaps.

Your tigger is adorable too.

I will be done with my last bits for the surprise swap tomorrow morning and then on to this. I am hoping to have a prototype done for my B - Best friends and my H - Hakuna Matata by the end of the weekend. We will have to see though. It is supposed to rain and if it does there is a good chance I can get both done. I have never posted pictures on here, so I am hoping that it is easy to figure out. I will post if I have any problems.

Everyone is doing a great job on there prototypes and it is pretty neat to get a sneak peak.

I have updated the OP. If you have checked in, you should now have 2+. I put the prototypes into 2 slideshows. Please continue to post your prototypes in the thread. Next to your name is your list of outstanding prototypes. Please let me know if I have missed anything. Thanks!

I'm so glad you guys like them:). I am having SO much fun making this stuff....it's gotten me out of my creative slump!

OK, the slides and the D are actually paper:). I bought it at M's and it's called Iridescent purple haze. The product number is SB-4684...there's no company name on this tag. The pink paper is SB-4680, Iridescent Cotton Candy. It's very thin, so I cut the D from white cardstock first and then glued the iridescent over it. It folds very nicely over the slide mounts and adheres easily with my Zig pen.

If someone else already responded to this I'm sorry but the paper is from doodlebug designs it's called sugarcoated cardstock I know there are useually they're logoon the back but when I bought it was not on the back either. Here's the link I love this site. :)

Thanks all. I've just printed the headings out onto cardstock and you'll be happy to know they look really bold - the ones for the pt were just on paper and quickprint to save ink. I've ordered 2 packs of mats and hopefully they'll come by the middle of the week.

Mazda, the Ice Cream and Tiggerific look great!!! I need to go see if I'm going to get those. I really should have signed up for both groups!

Checkin' In - Just got the stuff I ordered yesterday - yipee!!! I should be able to work on these this weekend

Checking in :) I haven't done much with these yet, I have paper though.

Here is my "M" for group 2. The "M" is stickled in two colors (Baby Blue & Lavender), the little monster on the journal box is pop-dotted and has stickles on his antenna, and the Boo is 3" with stickles on her hair ties and some chalking on her cheeks (and her eyes are brown). I will include the paper for the journal box, but just haven't cut it yet. I might do more to the photomat and journal box because they both look plain now. But I'm not sure. :confused3

Love it. So glad I am getting those pieces.
