I have not ordered from this company's web site or catalog but like several of their items. Can anyone give feedback on them? I can't find shipping costs either and that worries me a bit. How's their customer service if you need help or a replacement for damaged items? Inquiring minds want to know.....or at least I do! LOL

You have to order from them using a company's name, no individuals. They bill you when they ship the order & will add shipping charges.

Customer service is ok - I've never dealt with them directly - I just sent back something and got a credit.

I'm new here, but have had experience with ABC. The prices are good, but the shipping turned out to be very expensive. I ordered several small items and they sent everything individually and charged me the shipping charge on each item.

I will say be careful! A lot of items are pictured bigger, but always read the measurements. We used to order things at work, and quite a few people would be disappointed thinking they were getting a larger item, since they only went by the photo.

I quit ordering because they started backordering everything, and shipping one item at a time. You must pay shipping for each item, so I wasn't saving any money.

Now I check Lakeside Collection also, which is basically the same merchandise, and you can order online as an individual, and have shipping quoted to you at the time of purchase.

WOW! thanks for the great tip! I like to know what shipping will be prior to ordering so there are no surprises!

If your order goes perfectly, they're fine and the prices are good. Unfortunately, most of the orders I/we have placed here at work, they ship many items separately, (something is always backordered), and the shipping costs they add to each shipment escalate the cost of the item.

Also, the last order I tried to place was around October, which I'm sure is part of their seasonal busy time. I had to call them long-distance, needing to give them more information before they could ship my order, and was on hold so long that I gave up twice and never called them back. They never shipped the order, and I ended up being glad they didn't.

I actually think they make their money on the shipping charges.

I used to order all the time. I have had several times where my shipment was "lost" and the shipping charges are always very expensive. I also find that the quality of the products is not very good. My most recent experience with them was for a bunch of bus driver/teacher/coworker xmas gifts and xmas cards. Wouldn't you know....they lost my order this time. I would say, stay away from them at all costs.

I ordered a bunch of stuff seveersl years ago and it never came but the bill did with a notice that payment was overdue. I tried to call but they have an 800 number and I could never get anyone to answer the reg. line so I wrote to them explaining that I never received my items. In return they sent a letter stating the order was cancelled and they were closing my account as I had requested. I never once said anything about closing my account or cancelling the order. I just wanted to know why I hadn't received it, but had gotten an overdue bill notice in it's place. I wrote them back and never got a reply. I called the BBB in Fla. where they are located and was told they have MANY unresolved complaints against them. Therefore I no longer do business with them.

Judging by what others in my office have ordered, I would never order anything from this company.
To me, their stuff is very poor quality. Also, like others have said, they ship items individually or in small groups and charge you the shipping cost.
Some of their stuff I haven't seen any place else, but I'm sure you could find it if you looked and from a better company as well.

I agree with the poster who said they make money on shipping. In my opinion, they do.

It looks like I've had the same experience as most here. I have received several of their items in the past. The items themselves are usually a good price, but the shipping can kill you. For some items, I have paid more for shipping than I paid for the item itself.

I had the same experience and then never ordered again. To be honest some of the stuff was pretty junky IMO too.

A group of us at a former employer used to order some things. This has been about 8 - 10 years ago, but everything I tried was cheaply made junk. I don't think I would try them again.

Biggest issue is shipping, second biggest is read becasue the items are sometimes not quite as pictured. If everything is available to ship and it ships all together the shipping price is fair, but if items are not available you could spend 5.95 on shipping a $4.95 bag. I hate not knowing how much I really spend, so the boxes arriving with a bill that needs to be paid by check in 10 days is a chore.

ABC Distributing/LTD Commotities - same company, both are HORRIBLE for shipping! I have a business so I was able to order - I think I ordered 10 items, they shipped in 5 seperate boxes and shipping was charged on each box. Why on earth they didn't ship together is beyond me. The shipping ended up costing the same as the items. Huge rip-off; I'll never order again!!

I've had the same issues that have been mentioned. The prices are great, but then each individual item is shipped separately, and you have to pay for each shipment. Also, it takes a very long time to come in. I was also disappointed in quality.

I don't order from there anymore.

I'm really surprised they're in business still. I suppose what keeps them in business is some people who don't have money to pay when they order so they try to use their system like a credit card since they won't have to pay until the stuff comes in. Shipping is often more than the items, and usually not a fair price. You're much better off looking elsewhere.
