Has anybody ever used ABC Comp tickets before? My girlfriend sent several to me (she works for ABC) and on the back is her name and it says 'non-tranferable'. They are to be turned in for one-day hoppers and I am wondering if I will have a problem using them.

If they have her name on them and they cannot be transferred, I don't think you can use them. Also, since they have no value, they cannot be traded in for tickets (unless of course they are Comp vouchers).

Comp tickets for CM's are issued with their name on them so that they can be tracked. They say non-transferable so they can not be sold, as the purpose is for friends and family, not profit. They can be used just like a regular ticket by whom ever the CM decides to give them to. The CM does not need to be present for a comp ticket to be used by their friends and/or family.

Thanks for your reply, that makes sense. Do you think I could turn them in at OKW instead of at the entrance to the parks? I am going to a separate park for the first part of the day when we arrive with 2 of my kids and my husband is taking the other one, so I wanted to have every settled before we split up.

What are you turning them in for? I am confused. Are these vouchers or tickets? If they are tickets you cannot trade them for anything. They have no value in terms of money. And, if they are vouchers, you can only make the trade at one of the major parks' guest relations window or DD guest services.

The comps need to be taken to guest relations to be exchanged for an actual one day park hopper ticket. I do not think you are able to exchange them at the resort, you will need to do this at one of the parks.

so, they are, in reality, vouchers of a sort, right? Thank you for clearing this up.
