Will it really be noticed once a picture is put over it?

I checked it out. I agree with Susie. I think you are okay -- the photo should cover it. Is it 4 1/4 by 6 1/4?

I wouldn't worry about.
I used to fret over that until I too realized that the photo covers up more than it shows.
Nobody will notice that the paper runs in a different direction.
If you want to make mine with all wrong direction paper, I don't mind.

i just went and looked and it will be fine. (not that i have the say) but in my own opinion it looks like it will be fine.

o2Dk, if I'm in that group.. I don't mind if the papers are different directions.. life happens and sometimes it is upside down, different directions, and just crazy.. the photo will cover it...and I have NO issue w/ it... so feel free to make mine that way and if you would like just attach a little note to say this is for PN96. Love ya!

I just opened AWM's box. The pages are absolutely fabulous. I don't know how you pull those patterned papers together. They look great. There is so much detail in your pages -- I love the little flying Donald hat on the Zoom page. Great work!

I try to find the balance between over the top and meeting the requirements.

I'm still wondering if I should have added more things or taken something away or did I use the right colors.

Makes me all twitchy inside.

i bet those pages are wonderful. i went and bought that cuttlebug because i love those pages so much. i don't see the flying donald hat though? is it a later addition after the prototype??? or am i just to tired to see it???

all of the stuff i've seen is VERY nice. i'd be thrilled to have it in any of my books. (not that i have really any to speak of ) i have been to busy swapping instead of scrapping for myself!!!! -i know hard to believe right??

when using skittles i adhear them with glue dots??? really??? and if i want them to be black and can't find the ink to dye them, so i really paint the bottom with a black sharpie??

and all my letters need to be double matted? is that right???
and the 1st one must be different right???

ok that's enough for now. my brain is on overload!!!!

it was the trip to acmoore tonight and all the bargains that put me over the edge. or maybe it was the big giant icecream i had after that!!!!

i have a couple of ?'s then i'm off to bed.
when using skittles i adhear them with glue dots??? really??? and if i want them to be black and can't find the ink to dye them, so i really paint the bottom with a black sharpie??

and all my letters need to be double matted? is that right???

Yes, glue dots work on the skittles. You need the small ones though.

thanks susan. i'm not sure what size glue dots i have. i'll have to check that out. so i'll color the bottom only with my black sharpie. just want to be sure on the letters too. thanks.
acm had a ton of things in the clearance bins. i wanted everything. no xyron though. i bought a refill last week with my coupon. what size are you looking for? i think i have one that does not fit mine.

thanks for the responses about my wrong-way-paper. I went with white mats because some of the edges have the red mickey heads, and they would be the wrong way. Since I already have the paper cut, I'll just include that piece for everyone, and then if you want to do something with it (like change the 2nd mat to it) you can!

I did a lot yesterday and today. No sets finished but lots done on each one. Hope to finish Vacation in the next few days.

If you look at your die, you will see the hat right between the rocket tail. By the die, the hat should be closer to his head. But then it would have been right on the photo mat part that gets covered by the picture. So I put it out further. Kinda like a hidden Mickey head, only for Donald.


I use the mini sized Glue Dots brand of glue dots for my skittles. They work really well. Too well. Don't make a mistake, they don't come off easy.

If you use the Sharpie to color the bottoms, it takes about 5-10 minutes to dry completely. Make sure to turn them upside to dry or put them on scrap paper [don't ask]. I'm going to buy the alcohol inks and try that. I have a bag of clear I'd like to make different colors.
