abbreviation help for newbies?

Hi

I'm not new to DIS but I just started doing rewards this past week. I was referred here from the Budget Board and was hoping to find some tips and info about successfully doing rewards.

I am having quite a bit of difficulty making heads or tails out of many of the posts here bc of the extensive use of abbreviations. Are there rules about posting the full names of rewards sites?
Reading things like, "if I can make SM on SR" makes no sense to someone who is new.

So for the sake of all newbies, (not just myself) is there a thread where we can go to learn the abbreviations?

SM is supermember in sunshine rewards you have to earn $100 in a quarter to get this
