Anyone rent toys for 2-3 or 3-4? Ds will be turning 3 during our trip, not sure what if any to get, any ideas?

I never even knew you could rent toys! I have brought toys down with me before, every trip, and every trip they get brought back home untouched. There is just so much to do/see that my kids never play with the home toys. The only ones they use are the plane/car toys and even those get dropped the instant we arrive. Our first trip with my then 21 month old DD we packed all kinds of toys, made sure we could clip them to the stroller, lugged the extra weight through the airport, and she payed no attention to them. :lmao: .
The only thing we are bringing this year is a few plane toys and one pool toy each

We have rented toys twice for that age group (2-3) My kids loved it and I will always do it from now on. There were a few cars/trucks, mega blocks, steering wheel thing, etc. It kept them busy while I got things done, and it gave them something to do while I was making breakfast or taking a shower etc. Worth the money for sure. My son who was almost 1 and my 2 year old shared. Very clean and generous amount of toys provided. They had a blast.

Sounds good, I will have to get this also, last time I brought too much stuff, he will like it because it is New to him. Thanks!

Is there a website? I never heard of renting toys before, :)
For my Ds 4, I usually pick up odds and ends from the dollar section of Target, few activity books and markers and such and put it all in a backpack to carry on to the plane. It keeps him busy.
How much is it to rent toys? I don't think DS would want to give them back when our trip was done :lmao:

Just google A babys best friend and you will get there site.

I didn't know you could rent either! HAHAHAHA When DD9 was 2 we went to North Carolina for a week with DH's grandmother and I seriously packed one HUGE suitcase with nothing but toys, one of those GIANT coloring pads, crayons, blocks, etc. DD didn't touch ANYTHING except she colored one day. So, what did a 2 year old play with in a house of grownups? DH's grandmother bought a little rug to keep next to her bed so she wouldn't slip in the middle of night and DD never let her get it. She would carry it around, all rolled up. It was seriously as tall as her but I have some of the cutest pics of her and this rolled up rug. SHEESH!!! The things kids will do....

Thank goodness that was lightyears before the "pay for extra luggage" fees!!!

I always bring toys for my DD2 also when we go to WDW, and they never get used. She did enjoy the 2 new princess books I bought for her, we read those in AM and PM. Next time, I'm not bringing toys, just her normal Disney stuff. (princess dresses, light wand for the parks, etc).

I just buy toys for them to bring, It doesn't came into my mind that we can rent some toys, that's interesting. Thanks for the info.

Have a nice day. :)
