Oh I am so disgusted with myself right now I could just spit. I get paid every two weeks and my next check is this coming Friday (the 22nd) so needless to say between buying all the Christmas gifts and stuff for baking my cookies, I had literally $7.00 in my checkbook. Sad I know, but hey....

Anyhow, the other day hubby decided that we were going to order out for pizza. He told me to use his debit card (I have two...one for my checking account and one for his) So I go pick up the pizza and everything is just dandy. UNTIL, I go to my online banking just now and find out that I used MY damn debit card out of my checking account. Now I have a negative balance. How stupid can one person be???? This sucks.

That stinks, especially this time of year.

Contact your bank and see if they can help you. I deposited a check into the wrong account once, and started bouncing checks left and right. I talked to the bank as soon as I discovered the error, they covered the checks and waived the fees.

I know the feeling - that is about the point I am at right now. I love the holidays but I also hate them because I never have any money left!!

Maxlex, why don't you transfer the money (if they are connected)? If you can't do a transfer online, have DH take the money out of his account for you to deposit into your account. This way you can have the money back into your account.

DH and I have done that ourselves. But both checking accounts are joint accounts though. So if we find us writing a check out of the wrong account, we just go online and transfer between accounts.
