AND I think I deserve it!!!
So I booked the GC for the DL part of my California trip
WOO HOO!!!!! I'm so excited!!!
I'm paying $248 standard view with the AAA discount... but shhhh I didn't quite tell DH that part
BUT I could...he and our son booked the Richard Petty driving experience at California speedway.....so I deserve a treat too and the GC is my choice
Its only for 2 nights but I'll have 3 days....the CM said that after I check out on the last day...we're welcome to leave our car and luggage and still use the pool until we're ready to leave!!

We got 2 queen beds and requested a room with a daybed!!

So all the hours I spent researching hotels on the outside was waste of time

Good for you!! I know what you mean about being excited. We are booked for four nights at the GC when we visit California this August and although it cost a lot of points (DVC), I too felt the same way, we deserve a splurge every now and then. I hope YOU have a GREAT stay and can not wait to hear about it when you return.

Have to agree, we have yet to stay at the GC, and I swore the next time we went I was gonna splurge. Well once again, it came down to make a 3-4 day trip and stay at the other hotels or don't go at all since I can't stay at GC. Guess what I chose! Congrats. One day I will be there, hopefully this October is what I'm shooting for. Have fun, you will absolutely love it!
