Aack! So confused!

I thought the MYW w/dining packages are tied to your length of stay? I was putzing around on the Disney site today, checked a ressie for a room for 6 nights but was able to check the MYW tickets/w dining for for 10 days.

I thought about booking it, we want to do a split stay, but I was afraid if I booked it, at check-in I would be told it wouldn't work.

Can anyone help me clarify this?

btw, I didn't go to the last step in the booking process...maybe I should have tried it; I might have answered my own question.

the tickets are THEME PARK tickets - the dining is tied to the length of your stay. You stay 5 nights, you get dining for 5 nights.

the dining is directly tied to the number of nights you stay at a resort on one reservation... theme park tickets can be any number of days from one to ten, and do not have to correspond to any other number... what you were changing on the website was the number of days on your park tickets, not the number of days of dining...

if you do a split stay, you have to book two separate reservations/packages and you will have to purchase tickets (park) as part of each package...

for this reason, we are doing a split stay w/the package for the first eight nights, getting ten day tickets, and booking room only for our last night, so on our very last day there, our dining credits (assuming we had any left, we won't! LOL!) would be no good...

The passes are no longer length of stay. You can buy passes for 1 night or 10 nights, regardless of how many nights your package is.`
