What a stressful morning we had.

We received an Email first thing this morning from Air France to say our flight tomorrow had been cancelled.


Fortunately after numerous phone calls to Expedia and Air France we managed to get a new flight going at 9.00 tomorrow morning instead of 7.30 in the evening.

This meant we had to rearrange work schedules and book time off, arrange it with DDs school, change times with BS transports and change our car parking booking at the airport.

Of course the good side is it gives us an extra day there so we are now rethinking our plans and food options
 
I hate last minute changes!!!:scared1:

Gosh, how stressful!!:scared1: But glad everything's sorted out now and you get to go earlier too:yay: Did they say why they cancelled the flight? They shd've upgraded you what with all the stress & worry they have caused lol.
 
so glad u got it all sorted, sounds like a good sort of nightmare in the end - extra day is always a bonus!! but wud have been nicer without the strees before it!!

Glad you got eveything sorted out. They didn't give you much notice. Lucky you checked your emails this morning (something I don't do every day), otherwise you would be very stuck.
 
Thanks everyone - We're glad it got sorted but was a bit of a nightmare at 8.15 this morning.

Luckily DH was working at home first thing so logged onto Emails as he on the PC otherwise we'd just be finding out now.

They couldnt give us a reason for the cancellation
 
More airline companies are cancelling flights if they are not fully booked as it is too costly to run a half filled plane

You would have thought they would go more than 24 hours notice though!
 
So pleased that you got everything sorted out, so now I'm looking out the window in the morning to wave to you!!

Have a great time and just think of all that extra time in the parks - wonderful (now it's all sorted!)

Glad you got it sorted - tbh I'm v surprised they just let you know by email - would have thought they would have to telephone you as well!!! :scared1: As others have said, if you hadn't checked your emails it could have been a lot worse for you!
