I just had to share becaue I am spiltting at the seams with excitement!!!!

As you can see in my siggy, our wedding is in three months (ish). Well today i was catching up on the operational updates for the week we are down there. We had ressies at San Angel Inn for the day after the wedding to share our first dinner together as husband and wife with a special request to be next to the water of the Rio del Tiempo. Romantic right? :lovestruc

Well after review of the operational updates, Rio del Tiempo is close dthe entire month of March :sad2: Not only is it a fave of mine, but i became concerned about our ressies. I was afraid that they may possibly drain the "river" to refurbish. So anyways i got to thinking, "Hmmmm where can we go now?".

Magic Kingdom is my fave park hands down, so i thought since this would be our first park visit for our trip what better place to start? So I began looking at restaurantsin MK. My eyes caught Cinderella's Royal Table and my thought was "Yeah right that was booked up months ago".

So i decided to call and make ressies at Mama melrose's for a Fantasmic Package (yeah it's not MK, but Fantasmic in my opinion is proof of the geniuses behind disney!), so I call........

The woman answers (Anita) and asks where we would like to dine. Something hit me and i blurt out......

"I know it is practically impossible but do you have anything available at Cinderella's Royal Table? It is our first day as a married couple and I would love to eat there!"

She checks for what feels like eternity and says......"Actually.....we have one table left a 6:30 for that evening"

Me: "I WILL TAKE IT!!!!"

I never thought i coukld land that reservation three months out, but it is ours! What better way to spend our first evening together as husband and wife? Nothing can top this!

Case in point: It never hurts to ask!

Even thought it was chance and not at all a dream granted, even if we get nothing on our honeymoon or wedding day as a part of YOMD, i will count this as my dream that was given to me!!! Maybe not by a CM, but by my fairy god mother.....Anita!!!

Just had to share! :wave2:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are having breakfast there a few days before our wedding (but we're calling it our honeymoon anyway because it is technically our wedding trip!) and I'm SOOOOOOOO excited!

Congrats! That is wonderful. What a great way to start married life! Have a great time

Congrats!! Maybe you'll even get a window seat if it's noted on your ressie that it's your Honeymoon!

Congratulations!!! We are taking our daughter there after she rejoins us in Florida (after our honeymoon.) It is her Christmas present. She asked if she could eat at Cinderella's castle... right now, she doesn't think we are going because we also booked a Storybook Princess lunch in Norway on Dec. 8th . It was actually a big what to do with his folks... we didn't think we were staying down there for Christmas, so we told her we'd make it up to her with this other lunch. She's the greatest daughter in the world. (She is 10 years old) She reallly knows how to roll with the punches. I could see she was disappointed, but she said it was ok. She would rather see all the princesses than just be with Cinderella. I know she's just saying that... so, since we are staying at his folks house (just outside Disney) we kept the Cinderella reservations. It will be our last dinner at the parks before we leave the next day for home. She is going to be thrilled!!!! I can't wait to tell her on Christmas day!!!! :wizard: :woohoo:

You definetly got dosed in pixie dust getting that reservation! I'm sure it'll be wonderful and romantic.

Good choice of Restaurant. I am doing the exact same thing, But My Wedding is the day after yours. We are eating at the castle on Sunday 3/11 at 8 I think. While your having your first dinner as Mr. And Mrs. I will be in the middle of my reception. I hope we both have a magical time. :wizard:

AWWWW michloo!!!

I will totally be thinking of you that day! Aren't you so excited that it is getting so close! i was just telling DF last night, by the time we get through the holidays and new years, and then Valentine's Day, it will be time to start finalizing plans, packing, and then leaving! It is just around the corner and it is coming real fast! YAY!!!!

I know its sooooo close :hourglass . Its almost scary :scared1: because of all the details that need to be done. I cannot wait to go. I am sending lots of pixiedust: for your day.

Are you staying at Disney for your Honeymoon?

PS this is Michelle AKA Michloo but the computer signed in as my fiance.

Yes we are staying in Disney until the 17th! :goodvibes

That is when we are leaving too. Too funny that our trips will totatlly overlap. I will be on the look out for others wearing the wedding ears.

We are getting there on Thursday 3/8 and spending 9 nights at the Boardwalk Villas. :cool1: I am so excited. We made all of our ADRS a couple of weeks ago. We had no trouble getting the places we wanted.
Beside the castle where else are you planning to eat?

We are getting there Thursday 3/8 also! Too funny! :cool1:

We have ADR's most nights. The other places we are eating are:

Le Cellier
Tony's Town Square
Coral Reef
50's Prime Time Cafe
Chef Mickey's
and Mangino's for our reception (it is at Shades of Green Resort)

Our ceremony is at Sea Breeze Point.

What about you guys?

We are planning to eat at the following places:

Ohana
Boma
LeCellier
Chef Mickey
Raglan Road
Sci Fi Dine In Theater

Our Ceremony is at the Wedding Pavilion and the reception is at the Yacht Club.

Looks like we are eating at some of the same places. I almost went for the Prime Time cafe but wanted to try some different places this trip. Hence Boma and Sci fi.
