Ok I have to vent just for a minute. We went to DLR last weekend, to use our AP's for the last time, we have no plans to go back until at least next year (unless I decide to take DD15 in July for her 16th birthday, but then it would just be her and I). I was hoping I'd have my tax refund or my work bonus check, or even the rebate cards from Verizon from our recent phone upgrades.....well, not one of those came through, BUT this week I've received my rebate cards (yesterday), my bonus check (today) AND my tax refund (much higher than I'm used to).......why didn't they come last week? And WHY can't I just get ONE more trip???? I want to go and stay in the DLH or PPH........

Having an AP doesn't help when you aren't there. Maybe you can get it for the possible July trip?

Matt if I go with DD15 in July then I will get an AP, at least for myself because I'm probably going for the Ladies trip next March. It would make sense, but it would be weird to be the only one with an AP in the family. lol It just annoyed me that this week I'm "rich" and I wasn't last week......LOL Figured my Dis Friends would "get it" LOL

Okay first, for your missed DLH opportunity.

Secondly, it's the world's way of making sure you have money you need, but making sure you don't waste --- excuse me --- spend it on coveted Disney valuables instead.

Stash that money away. The world has made sure you have it , and making sure you don't spend it before it's needed by getting it to you "just" after your trip.

YAY for money coming in. It's a good problem!

Oh, just had a thought...perhaps this was the world's way of making sure I could do the Sweet 16 trip with DD, just the 2 of us AND stay onsite at the DLH or PPh.......hmmmmmmm

I like this idea. I'm thinking of taking a trip with just my 8/9 year old daughter at some point. I hope you two have a blast!!!
