So I screwed up and didn't call every day to add days. Now I'm missing the 29th. And since it was the 29th, when I called yesterday I couldn't even book after that. Now the dvcmember.com says down for maintenance so I got up super early for NOTHING hrmph...

is there any alternative?

I have been looking at alternatives, but was very lucky. Standard view studio was available today for 30, 31... Yet the 29th still was not. Now, I only have the 29th wait listed.

I'm looking at BWV and want a standard studio. I'd take Boardwalk view as well but really don't want to spend the extra points. Instead I am able to spend the extra points on a pool/garden view so I do have that booked. 2 years ago we had to waitlist the entire week of Christmas-New Years. Then I got pregnant and she was born Christmas Eve so we had to cancel the whole trip. That waitlist didn't get cancelled and actually came through at just over a month out. So hopefully we get so lucky this time! Or maybe we'll look at another resort at 7mo, but nothing beats walking to 2 parks

I just spoke with MS those two nights magically came available!!! I'm guessing someone walked their reservation and freed up both nights. PHEW so glad I don't need to worry about that now One more day to add and we're good. I don't think the 6th will be a problem though. Then to wait very impatiently for December to come!

That's the problem with 11 month booking...it's so long away! We will be checking into BCV December 28!

The site sure has been down alot with maintenance the last few weeks. I hope they have it straightened out and soon.

I'm fairly certain it goes hand in hand with the massive overhaul of the WDW site and a bunch of other Disney sites. Since disneyworld.com and dvc's site work together, pulling info from one to the other, they have to make them match up. And this seems to be proving very difficult for Disney's crack IT team.
