Aaa ???

Hi. We booked through Disney at POFQ a few weeks ago. Unable to get any discount. We booked room and tickets. Can you join AAA and call and ask if the AAA discount can be applied or do you have to book through an agent? Is it likely that all of the AAA rooms are used up? When should you give up trying to get a discount with a dining code? HAve called 5 or 6 times...Thanks so much if anyone has this info.

If you want to have a package ie (tickets, dining,etc) and get the AAA discount you have to book through a AAA agent. You can book directly through Disney a room only reservation and have your AAA discount applied. But that's only if there are AAA rooms available. Hope that helped some?

You don't have to join AAA to book through them, although you don't get the "special" AAA discount...but when we booked that discount would only have been about $50, and that was about the cost to join. We got what we thought was a great deal for our upcoming February trip: 7 nights at AKL in water view room, 5-day park hopper passes, airfare, insurance...with taxes it came to $2800. Would have been $2700 if we'd been willing to take a 7:30 am flight, but since the airport is an hour and a half away, we opted for a later flight that ended up being a different airline (we're in Iowa, no big international airports for us!). We also get special coupons for the trip for money off at restaurants, shopping and attractions.
