AAA with meals vs FL Resident %

Has anyone compared the price of getting a 5 night- 4 days package from AAA with the meal plan included with taking the Florida Discount (in our case about 16%) and using either food vouchers or just buying meals?

I called Disney and asked about just going with the rack rate and adding the meal plan and buying 1 day tickets for everyone, even though 2 people already have passes. Then I have to buy 3 more sets of tickets for the other 3 days.

All these numbers are driving me crazy!

I tried to look for packages at AAA on line but it says you have to contact the office and of course now it is Sat. night and Monday is a holiday!


I feel like I will never get this all decided!

I meant to ask too...if we buy 1 day tickets for people with season passes can anyone else use them?

Are they part of the room key? Would you need ID to match a possible name on the room key, is there a name on the room key? LOL! I am so confused!

For example if we have to buy 2 1-day tickets for people who have season passes, can I use 1 of those and then only need another 2 day pass for me since I would already have one of my own?

Or could we literally give the admission to someone at the gate and then get the room key/ticket back from them?
