AAA VIP lounge???

I was just looking around on the AAA website (www.aaa.com) and i saw in their disney AAA benefits there is a "AAA VIP Lounge" listed amoung them. here is the link to the site: http://www.aaa.com/aaa/084/disney/Benefits/member.htm

Hi. We booked our Disney wacation with AAA and they gave us a coupon for one visit to the lounge. It near the carousel of progress. They give you a free soft drink there and a place to sit for a while. I'm not sure if you are member, but did not book with AAA if you can get a coupon. Just call them tomorrow and ask. Also when you booked with them you got other discounts like a special parking pass to park in a special area. You don't need to be a member of AAA to book a AAA Disney vacation either.

Hi.

I booked our FTP through AAA.
When i got my packet it included a voucher for the lounge, not much to it really. I think we are entitled to a free soda or something, and maybe a chance to cool off under some air conditioning.

And that's all I know about it..Sorry I can't give you any more details.

If you book a vacation with them, then you get admission to the lounge. You will get a coupon and a little vacation card.

Wehave used it in the past. We book our millenium trip with AAA, and the day we were in MK was very hot. It was nice to have a cold drink brought to us and sit down in the cool for a while. Nice clean restrooms, no crowds, etc...... Last aug we did not use the drinks, but because i am a member, i went in and got hotel ressies for when we left disney. They were very helpful. Oh yea, the 2000 trip my middle DS left his baseball hat in the lounge and didn't remember until later that night after it had closed. The next day my DH and he went back. Of course, it wasn't there, but the man said he would check the lost and found. About 3 weeks after we were home, he got a package in the mail! It was his hat with a AAA business card and a hand written note! What a surprise!!!

thought i would resurrect this for a quick question. I am a member of AAA, but do i have to book with them to get the AAA preferred parking and VIP lounge ticket. We still have days left on our hopper so we dont have to do any bookings this year. Thanks for anyone who replies.

Yes, you have to book through them for the perqs.

And, purchasing a ticket is not considered booking.
