I decided to use a AAA agent for my first night since it was not covered by my pin...any discount is good right? Now I got my itinerary in the mail and there is a $15 service fee. I am a AAA member and told the agent that when I booked. I booked through the same office last year and wasn't charged a fee. Overall with the service fee it saves me only $30...not sure its worth it.
Has anyone been charged a service fee through AAA?
I do have a call out to the agent, but only am getting a voice mail

which is probably a bigger problem!
According to this agent, they have been "cracking down" on charging a fee. She claims she quoted it in the verbal quote, which I never heard. Yet another reason make your own reservations!
Guess it's just another added expense to be living in WI
and were planning on using it to park hop on one of our days, but your option would work too.
