AAA room rate & tickets

The CM told me that if I booked our vacation seperatly we could get a AAA room rate for Nov 12 - 17. Then we purchase our 5 day hopper tickets later. Well, now I was thinking about adding the dinning plan to our tickets. I called DW and they told me that I would lose my AAA room rate because I would have to book a package to be able to have the meal plan. That would make our room rate jump $15 a night. Does anyone know of a way I can get around having to lose my AAA room rate???

I believe you would need to cancel your current ressies with Disney, and then rebook a package directly through AAA. From what I understand, other TA's can book you room only ressies with the AAA discount, but only an actual AAA TA can book a package with their discount.

Matt's Mom has it exactly correct. I would however, book with AAA and then cancel your Disney reservation.

Thanks!! I just booked through AAA and their rate for the whole package is only $9.30 more than booking seperatly! And, I have added the dining package.
