AAA Resort Discounts?

How do I find out about AAA resort discounts? I am considering a trip the first week of May, and hoping there may be some AAA discounts at this time. Thanks for the info! :D

Just call 800-828-0228 and inquire about any AAA rates during your stay. I was just able to obtain AAA rates at the All Stars for our Sept. trip. The AAA discount is the same as Disney Club. For Allstars -- l0% during value season.

Kim - since May is in regular season, I think the only AAA/DC discounts will be at deluxe resorts, unless you have an AP.

AAA.com has the discounts posted on their web page. Be careful of the price quotes. I called 2 days ago and asked for a week in May with the Resort package. I had checked on Disney's web page to get an idea. I was quoted the same exact price! Even though the AAA page stated there is a 10% discount on the room for May.
Now I am in the process of following up and trying to see what happened to the discount.

I may not have followed you correctly Zephyr34..
did you get a quote for your trip through Disney or through AAA? When I was pricing packages, which in my case are not worth the big bucks, the price given to me by AAA exceeded the one I got off the disney web site by $400.!! For the same thing!
BUT....I have recently gotten a 10% discount on our already planned Fort Wilderness Cabin trip, during peak season, end of Feb. to beginning of March, through the 407-W-Disney number.
Please shop around. I wish someone had told me that 2 years ago before I sank over $6000. into a WDW trip we took. I am positive that I could have had the same experience for 1/2 that price if I had known better/found these boards prior to that trip. Good luck!!
Kimcon...just call CRO and ask if there are any AAA discounts offered for whatever it is you are looking for. Thats what I did and I got it!!
:D

Disney only gives AAA discounts on value & moderate resorts during the ever-shrinking value season. (now through 2/15; 8/27-9/26; and 11/? through 12/20)

Discount is 10% on value resorts; 15% on moderates.

Deluxe resorts offer discounts of 20% during value, and I think 10% during regular season.

Make sure you ask for "room-only" rates, or they will try to foist some sort of package on you, which has a cancellation policy of 45 days out, instead of the 5 day room-only policy. You'll have to pay the balance of the trip 21 days beforehand, but can still get 100% refund 5 days prior.
