Do you know if you can use the plastic AAA card that the AA issue, for the AAA room only discounts at WDW resorts?

I used the AAA card in Universal and remember getting 10% off of food & souvenirs, but I'm not sure if it can be used to get the 'amazing' raved about AAA discount at the resorts.

Thank you :wave2:

I used it 2 years ago to get a discount off a couple of nights at Coronado Springs resort. Don't imagine things have changed. Plus, I was speaking to CRO a couple of weeks ago about room discounts and the AP rate. I mentioned the AAA to her and she replied along the lines of it not being as good as the AP rates - thus suggesting that they do still give an AAA discount - just don't know how much.

BTW my AAA card is a few years old and is made of card (flashy heh? ) but the AAA symbol is on the back of my AA card and I thought that was all they issued now. Do you have something different?

Thank you for your reply. I also just have a paper/card AAA card and the AAA logo on the back on my normal AA card.

I had to call CRO today anyway to enquire about something and the CM confirmed for me that it 'should' be okay, and just that I should bring the 'real' AA card along with the card AAA card just incase.

I'll check the rates using AP and AAA and see which is lower.

Thanks again! :sunny: :wave2:
