AAA rate!!

Yay! I just had to say I am sooooo excited!! The AAA rate for our two packages finally came through saving us over $400!! I'm so excited I think I could almost kiss my AAA TA! LOL No seriously, I have been trying for a AAA rate for about the past month off and on and was having absolutely no luck. So I called a different AAA office spoke with a wonderful TA named Tracy and she was kind enough to say that she calls Disney pretty much daily and would keep checking for me for our time frame Dec. 2nd - 12th. Well today we got lucky and she called me with the wonderful news!

My dh said I was having CPE (Cheap Package Envy) LOL I called to tell him that I was working on my CPE issues and all he said was as long as you don't change the dates!

I know that there are a couple of codes out right now for your dates (one for packages and one for room only that I believe are very similar) that you may want to check on. I had a room only ressie for 11/28-11/30 with an AAA discount at the Contemporary and then I heard about the room only code figuring that it wouldn't be any cheaper, but I called and saved an additonal $16 over the AAA rate. It wasn't a ton because I only had a room and only for 2 nights, but it could very possibly be significant on a package for several days. Every little bit helps!

BTW, the codes are:

Room only- BRY
Package- ZDN

It says that the discount may not be available for stays 12/2-12/8.

Thank you so much, I should have listed that I have been trying those codes as well without any luck I was happy to get any discount at this point, but I planned on mentioning the codes to the TA tomorrow when we meet anyways in case she has more luck than I had.

Well the room only code I could get but it would actually cost more than the AAA rate. The other code had no availability.

Yes, I read that on Mousesavers, that the AAA rate was better in some cases. I guess I just got lucky by $16, but am so glad that you got your AAA rate! It was worth at least checking on!
