AAA rate + dining plan??

I booked our trip through AAA and we purchased the DxDP and got the discount(I don't know about free dining) I do know you have to purchase at least one park ticket per person for the dining plan, and that it gives you the plan for however many nights you stay in a resort at Disney. I had a very good experience with my AAA rep.

You can only apply one (1) discount code to a reservation.

I don't think you can get a AAA rate/package, plus FREE Dining Plan, (for travel 8/24 - 9/20). In past years, I think some guest did manage to do this, however, I believe Disney put an end to it.

For this reason, I'm seriously considering going to Magic For Less TA. We are going the first Sat. in December and the the MFL TA said if Disney comes out with a discount, she can add it. AAA won't. I'm still weighing my options on just about everything. I bet I have changed our plans top to bottom about 2000 times.

What's the AAA parking?

Reserved parking up front next to the handicap spots.

AAA TA's can and do add other discount codes, just as any other TA's, but it depends on the TA.

The important thing, when dealing with TA's, is to select a Disney Specialist.

A good TA will watch for discounts to become available for your dates and have the code applied.

Also, if you know a code is released for your dates, you can call the TA and have them apply the code. So, it's important when choosing a TA, you choose one you can easily get in touch with, or one who quickly returns your calls.

If you book through AAA, and are saving 10-15% off the room, but a code comes out for a free ticket upgrade for "Hoppers & Water Parks & More", and the Hoppers and Water Parks & More option is something you want or have already purchased in your package, you or the TA should figure out which is a bigger money saver for your family, and have the larger discount applied.

Many people book with AAA, to make sure they receive some sort of discount, but if a better discount comes out, call and have it applied.

There is a four page disney supliment in our phila inq paper. Mentions add ons. I'm not sure if add ons include fd or instead of. I am going to find out.

I have a reservation at the Poly for a room only with the AAA rate through Disney. I called AAA to get a quote for a package with dining.

Here's the problem...The poly is booked solid for our dates. Now I know that I have one of those rooms. I asked AAA if they could swap out my ressie for the package. No they can't! They can't even give me a quote because it is coming up unavailable. Does anyone know how to get around this? I don't want to cancel my reservation and risk losing it all together.

You would have to give AAA access to your RO res and the CM can do an overbook to release your room and give it to the AAA agent. It requires guest services but it can be done.
