I am a AAA member. To my knowlwdge there is no AAA discount at WDW. You receive a discounted rate only if you book through your AAA travel agent.

Not sure if this year's free dining is the same as last year, but last year, you could not get the free dining in conjunction with any other discounts. So you have to choose your AAA discount or the dining plan. For us, it was worth it to give up the AAA discount in order to get the dining plan, because the discount was only about $350 or so, and the dining plan was worth more than that.

Sorry, don't know the answer to #2. Best way to find out would be to call your AAA travel agent.

With the MYW package with the free dining for the fall, there is no additional AAA discount. However, I was told when I booked mine that normally, when there is no free dining promotion, there is an additional discount on AAA MYW packages.

Will defer to the others knowledge about MYW discounts. We booked through WDW and got a AAA discount on a room-only reservation at AKL last fall. It was 10-15% off. Of course, that was probably why we ended up in a room above where the ME luggage was being loaded/unloaded. www.mousesavers.com has all the AAA discount info nicely organized.

AAA and CAA Resort Hotel Discounts
American Automobile Association (AAA) and Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) members qualify for "room only" discounts almost year-round, though there are a limited number of rooms available for each date. You can generally save about 10-20% at the Disney resort hotels, depending on the season.

In general, the discounts run as follows:

During Value Season you can get up to 15% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 20% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.
During Regular Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.
During Peak Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts.
The only time AAA/CAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas).
You don't have to book AAA/CAA rates through the Auto Club. Room-only reservations with an AAA discount can be booked directly through the Disney Reservation Center at (407) W-DISNEY or a travel agent who specializes in Disney travel. Just ask if there is an AAA or CAA discount for your dates and resort.

AAA/CAA rates for all of the following year are usually released in the summer. 2006 AAA/CAA "room only" discounts were released on June 30, 2005.

I did a package for November with AAA. Room, Dinning, Tickets. Cost was about $50 less than the Disney websight. Not much, but you get the AAA extras: better parking, storybook thing and others.

We booked a room at AAA discount rates by calling WDW directly. I just called CRO and asked for the AAA rate for the resort, and time period, I wanted. They told me what it was. Sounded better than any other rates I could find so I booked it.

I matched the discount rates listed on the Mousesavers site. And, it was better than the rates quoted me by AAA. Since it was changing from value season to regular season during our stay AAA changed our rate, where as WDW kept us at the rate we checked in with (value season rate with the AAA discount).
