Question???

So If I book thru AAA and a discount code comes out on a later date, is it a problem to change your reservation to the discount code if it applies? :confused3

Thanks in advance!

The best way is to call CRO and tell them you are an AAA holder and would like to book a room with the AAA rate. Be sure to have your card handy as they will ask for the number. Then if a code comes out all you do is call CRO again and have them apply your code. It is that easy.

I think it is tougher if you do it through AAA directly, not sure if they can apply general codes. You may have to book it again through CRO and cancel the current reservation with AAA. Not entirely sure as I have only done mine through CRO and it has been no problem.

Definately do it yourself and just tell CRO you are a AAa member. If they book for you, you have no access to your reservation yourself, they will have to make any changes, and I'm not sure they would apply the code, since the code would take the place of the AAA rate.

I currently have the AAA package booked. If good codes come out, I'll book through CRO and cancel with AAA.

That's a good idea!

My AAA agent did not charge any type of booking fee, and all of the information he shared with me sounded just like Disney policy ($200 deposit, and full payment 45 days from check in, etc.). So, as long as I'm not fewer than 45 days away from my check in date, I should get a full refund without penalty, right? Will AAA try to charge any type of cancellation fee of their own? My AAA TA did not mention this, but he talked so fast that I might have missed something.

Thanks!

I'm at 58 out from my trip. Those codes better come soon! I just read the AAA brochure and it says exactly what you just said. It does mention that if the HOTEL has a cancellation fee, you would have to pay that. As far as I know, WDW doesn't have an extra cancellation fee before 45 days, so we should be fine. Come on, codes!

AAA has the option of charging you a $20 fee for cancelling or modifying a Disney reservation if you reserve though an agent (vs. online); some offices do and some don't. I just book online through AAA and if a code or ap rate comes out I make a new reserv. thru cro and cancel my AAA res. online.

Book through CRO and let them know that you are an AAA member. When you call to modify with new codes they will do it. I think there are charges when changing through the AAA reservation desk. But overall the AAA savings pays for the card itself.

Ugh! I didn't know I could book a package through AAA's website. I wish I would have known that. Can I cancel through the website even though I booked through an agent?
