I am not a member, but am looking into joining. When I went to the website, it was about $118 to join. Did I do that right? It was asking about Auto, Life and home insurance, I don't need all that. I tried to do the basic thing...am I doing this right? Is that what you all pay each year? Just curious.... What is the lowest rate i can get, but yet get some benifits???? Thanks in advance!

I live in NC and my rate was $42 for a year. I had a code to waive the registration fee of $10. I don't know where you live, but I would call the local office and ask them what the rate is for AAA per year.

I went to the website for the same reason a few months ago. Instead of enrolling online, I asked them to send info in the mail. The price will vary from state to state or region to region. In Mississippi, it was only something like $40-45, and we were able to add a second person for free. The price you're quoting sounds a little high if you only want auto service without insurance.

I live in Ky and I pay $60.00

I think ours is $125 - $150, I'm not exactly sure. What I do know is I saved $300 on our January WDW stay by booking with the AAA rate. It's already paid for itself, and I haven't even booked anything for Universal yet...this doesn't count the peace of mind for roadside service, other discounts, etc. AAA is a great value for our family!

Here in CT the rates are really high. For the deluxe AAA membership (the extra mileage for towing is for peace-of-mind with young adult kids driving their own cars). Our deluxe plan for 4 is about $180 per year (I think its actually a little more). With all the discounts it offers for Universal and Disney it is well worth it. Don't know if you realize it but you get a good discount on Universal rooms but will also save 10% on food at most Universal restaurants in the parks and at City Walk, just show your card.
