AAA parking

We are staying at CSR but will have a rental car. Has anyone ever used the AAA preferred parking? How does it work and how close is it? DO I need a separate pass for each park or is one good for everything.

You only need one pass ~ it will get you into the AAA parking at every park.

The AAA lots at EP and DS were very convenient. I found parking in the regular lot and taking the tram to be a better option at MK. We didn't go to AK last year, so I can't comment on that one . . .

When we used it, and that was a few years ago, the AAA preferred parking was usually at the beginning of a row and close to the entrance at MGM. At the MK, it was next to the handicapped lot. I don't remember exactly where it was at AK or Epcot, but I think it was similar to MGM.

When you go through the gate at each park, ask where the AAA parking is. They usually direct you to follow a line which may lead to where the handicapped parking is, depending on which park you are at. At AK the parking is close to where the RV's park. It is off to the right of the park entrance. At DS it is close to the en trance. At Epcot it is to the left of the entrance. They are all reasonable close. I don't remember where it is at MK because I, personally, think it is better to take the bus even if you have a rental car. If you use the regular parking lot you still have to take the monorail or ferry to the main entrance. The shuttle bus drops you off at the MK main entrance. Even though the buses are crowded if you stay until parking closing, the ferry to the parking lot seemed a lot worse to me.
