AAA parking question

I have a question about AAA parking and I am hoping someone on here knows the answer. I called AAA and they told me to call Disney, who told me to call AAA.

So, I know guests staying at Disney hotels get free parking and people who buy their tickets through AAA have access to a special lot. If you are staying onsite AND bought your tickets through AAA, can you park at the AAA lot for free, or is there a special charge for that?

The AAA parking is a section of the regular parking lot, closer to the front. You don't pay extra.

Most branches require that you buy a vacation package through them to get the parking pass, not just tickets.

The AAA lady I talked to today said it would work if I just bought tickets through them, but I am not super confident that she knew what she was talking about. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again!

No. Don't call. Go in. If the AAA parking is still being offered, you will need the AAA Diamond Parking card.

I have always received a AAA Diamond parking pass when I have purchased my park tickets. If they don't offer it ask for one. If you are staying on Disney property I would recommend utilizing the buses/boats as most of the Diamond parking is the same distance as where the buses leave you off. The only park we normally use it at is Animal Kingdom as we normally don't stay there the whole day and it's quicker to get back to our resort.

In my area, one AAA office required you to purchase park tickets to get the parking pass. The other one just gave me the pass for being a member, no purchase necessary. So if you have a couple offices near you, keep checking.

Each aaa office has its own policy. Some will just give you the parking pass, others give it to you if you buy park passes from them. Other offices give the parking pass only when a pkg is purchased.
