does anyone have a AAA parking pass they are willing to share? We are looking for one to use 3/25/06-4/01. We are happy to pass it along or return it!!

I have read that some people have gotten the pass at their own AAA simply for buying their tickets there. And at least one AAA member that I recall got a pass just for asking.

Good Luck! :)

If you belong to AAA, you can just call them and ask them for a Disney World Parking Pass??? Please confirm. That would be awesome!

This is the first time I have booked through AAA because we wanted the dining package. So, we will be getting the AAA parking pass. We normally have a car at WDW since we drive, but usually take the WDW buses. Is it worth it to drive to the parks from the resorts (CSR) if you have the AAA parking pass. I imagine we would still bus it to MK.

I did not mean for people to think that AAA's normal policy was to give a parking pass to any member. :( I think that the parking pass is generally given to those who have booked WDW packages with them.

I said that I had read of at least one person who simply went to their local office, asked, and was given one. This is certainly not the norm, but I SHOULD have said that it never hurts to ask.

Sorry for the confusion.

I believe that the pass gets you parking in the general vacinity (sp???) of the handicapped areas. It IS closer than the general parking, but then you usually have to walk to the entrance, it is TOO close for the shuttles. It would be up to you to decide whether it is worth it.

BethR, you're correct. AAA Diamond parking is close to the front of the parking areas. In AK, it's right next to the HC parking. In Epcot and MGM it's right at the front and MK it's near the tunnel at the entrance of TTC.

As far as getting a pass, it depends on your local AAA office. The one I've gone to has given it to me once I bought an adult 5-day MYW ticket. Others have reported they had to buy a package and some have just walked in, asked for one and received it.

So call your office and see what they say - it never hurts to ask!!! :teeth:
