AAA packages and ADR's

My mother booked a grand gathering for next Feb. through AAA
I received a confirmation number from AAA. This doesn't seem to be a WDW confirmation # (I can't check the reservation on the WDW website).

My question is, will I be able to use this confirmation number to make my ADR's? I am planning on making our ADR's on the first day possible and I want to make them for our whole trip (most are going to be for a large group of people.

I have never booked through AAA before, please share some info!

You don't necessarily need to use your confirmation number. I usually use my phone number to make ADR's not a confirmation number. You should be fine!

I usually use my phone number too, I just wonder if WDW has my reservation linked to my phone number, or if this is something that just AAA has. When I book my ADR's on the 180th day before my check in, they ask me my check in date and the resort I am staying at. I know that only Disney Resort Guests can make ADR's for their entire trip on the 180th day before their trip, rather than non resort guests who can only make their ADR's 180 days out before their ADR date (resort guests can make reservations for their entire trip 180 days out, non resort guests can only make them day by day - 180 days out). If the WDW computer system does not recognize my confirmation number, will Disney Dining recognize it when I make my ADR's?

I don't know AAA policy, but perhaps they will assist in making ADR's for you. Large groups need to go through group dining for these reservations.

Another thing you can ask AAA for is your Grand Gathering number. If AAA booked your package as a GG, then there must be a GG# linked to your reservation and you can use that for ADR's.

That is a great idea...I think my mother did book as as a GG, I am the person who can do all of the GG planning too, I will have her call AAA and get the info tomorrow!
