AAA Package

We are booked through AAA for POFQ, 7 nights with dining plan for Dec. It will be me and DD's (16, 13 and 7). I have a 8-day park hopper pass included in my package.

Short of calling my TA (whose is out of the office until after Labor Day) - can anyone tell me if it would be cheaper to have her change the package to a one-day ticket (which is what I think I read I need to buy through Disney to get the package w/ dining ) and then buy our other tickets through Ticketmania. So am I better off with what I have??

Does that make any sense?? I am also thinking of extending my package for 2 additional nights.

I think you would have been better off had you done it yesterday. The Free Dining ended on 08/20/05.

Per mouse savers: The additional cost of the dining is $35 per night per adult or junior (ages 10-17), $10 per night for children (ages 3-9).

Mouse savers also says that the AAA discount is 20% during the value season for a moderate. What time during December are you staying?

I was running the numbers last night at 11:45 and trying to decide what to do. I qualify for the Florida Resident which is a similar discount to the AAA.

The free dining was a better option that the Florida Resident, but I the cancellation policy is stricter. I believe that AAA also has a better cancellation policy.

The free dining has not extended into December, only the beginning of October so that would not apply to the OP's question.
I think she is just inquiring about saving money on her tickets, should she buy the one day ticket with her package and then buy the add'l tickets through ticketmania, in order to save money on the tickets. But maybe I'm misreading her intent.

You are right. I am brain dead trying to figure out what is best for my October trip.

I don't think buying a one day pass is better. A one day pass wil,be about $60, and you won't save that much using mousesavers Ticketmania discount.

For example, on our 10 day hoppers, expiring, we would save $14. For less days, the saving are less.

I think it's a bad idea.
