We have booked a package through AAA For a stay at the GCH with park hopper tickets. We have received our confirmation papers in the mail shortly after making the reservations. Does anyone know when we get our "extras" (free pin and lanyard, dream coin, ect..) and our park tickets. Is it when we check into our hotel or do they mail them to us just prior to our trip? We have not stayed at a Disney hotel at DL only at DW. Are your park tickets on your Key to the World.(room key) Anyone with AAA and disneyland hotel experience I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

When we booked our package through AAA, we got the package a couple of weeks before our stay. We had to pick it up from the AAA office.

The lanyard and pin is something you'll be picking up in a store. Either the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney (that's where we got ours a couple weeks ago) or there's one store inside Disneyland and one store inside California Advanture. Look carefully through all the paperwork you should have gotten (in an accordian style envelope.) You should have a small voucher in there that you have to give to the store to get the lanyard and it says which stores where.

For the coin, that was actually floating around in the bottom of our accordian envelope thing, inside a little velveteen type black envelope of it's own if I remember correctly.

Hope that helps!:goodvibes

Edited to add - the accordian style envelope is something you'll be getting a couple weeks before you travel (as the above poster said.) What I wrote assumed you already have that...

Thank you for thr answers, helps a lot. Our trip is still two months away and we hadn't received anything in the mail yet. I will wait patiently! Thanks everyone.

I just picked up tickets at the AAA office yesterday and this is what the agent told me. If you order a package they send all of the above mentioned items to you via mail. If you are within 2 weeks of your vacation date they will express mail it to your hotel so that it is waiting for you at checkin. This could be just a AAA Arizona thing. Califorinia's AAA seems to run differently.

Also, there is no KTTW at DLR. You'll have your room key, you'll have your ticket media (if your package included "souvenir tickets" those will be hard plastic cards, and if it didn't include "souvenir" tickets" they will be paper like the normal DLR tickets), and you'll also have your small white slip of paper that you must carry with you. That white slip of paper (along with your ticket) is what gets you in to all the Magic Mornings during your stay (MM offered on sat sun tues and thurs), and it's also what you use to charge souvenirs and food to your room.

And as others have said, you'll get the big packet a few weeks before your trip, after the time for full payment has past (even if you pay it in full well before).

Thank you everyone for your info and input! Now all I have to do is be excited for the trip. YAY!!!
