AAA package discount

I am considering getting AAA and know that you can sometimes get package discounts to WDW through them. Is is always a set percentage off or does it vary depending on time of year. Is there always a discount package available?

Is there any way to find out what a package might cost before purchasing AAA?

you could try contacting them via email and asking how much it would cost if you purchased a membership. I'm a member and I am using AAA for my trip next year. I don't remember, however, if I had to log in on the website in order to email them and ask for prices. It's worth a try.

Just for the record, my trip is booked through AAA for 2 adults 10/4-10/14 Garden View Polynesian, 7 day premium tickets (park hoppers, plus options, non expiration), dining plan. The original quote off of disney.com was about $4800.00 and my price through AAA is about $4400.00 so it's saving me approximately $400...well worth my membership fee.

As far as I know, it's always a percent off, based on the season & resort level. They aren't always available because only so many rooms are "set aside" for a particular discount. For quotes on a package, you have to contact AAA. For AAA room-only discounts you can contact disney directly.

The quote I received from AAA was $275.00 less than the quote I got from Disney. According to Mousesavers, the discounts are as follows:


Value season=
15% off Deluxe resort rack rates
20% off value and moderate resort rack rates

Regular season=
10% off Deluxe resort rack rates
15% off value and moderate resort rack rates

Peak season=
10%off Deluxe resort rack rates
15% off value and moderate resort rack rates

I just booked thru AAA for our May trip and I am not a member. I just called our local AAA for a quote and the TA said you didn't have to be a member for a quote. I still haven't bought a membership but I am assuming I will have to when I make a final payment. I grabbed my papers but I didn't save the quote from DU to compare but I think I am saving a few hundred on the package with dining. But I broke down the costs and the only discount was on the room everything else was the same price as directly from Disney.
