AAA opportunity?

My father has offered me his AAA "spouse" card (I already called, AAA said since we live in same household it would be honored) for cost of $50. I already have access to trip tiks and tour books etc through his membership. We have already booked and paid for our MYW package. Is there other discounts available at WDW that I could use and make the $50 investment pay for itself? Shops, Resteraunts, etc??
Hope this hasn't already been asked, tried to do a search. Do you know how many threads have AAA in them?!?!?

This will not answer any of your questions, but ask a question of my own. Why 50.00?? You can join on your own for 45.00 and have your own membership. It only cost 22.00 to add another adult to an existing membership or 25.00 to add a dependent membership. What am I missing here??


Now having asked that, I am really not aware of any other discounts you might find at WDW. Maybe others will know of something.

It isn't the standard membership. It's the upgraded platinum or deluxe? Can't remember exactly what they called it. My father had a stroke 2 years ago and is very worried about driving and doesn't have the ability to change a tire or any other "minor" fixes. He upgraded because this had the long distance towing benefit. Don't know if it has any other benfits?

It is the Plus program. There is a show your card and save program with AAA. If you sign on to the AAA website you can find where you can use your card and save.

Yeah...thats it! Thanks safetymom. I used that and it didn't show anything excpet off site places. Is there no saving opportunities onsite?

Universal is big with AAA discounts. WDW other than resort discounts you won't find much.

Check on planet hollywood i thought i read somewhere it was good there, also rainforest cafe would be a possiblity.
