AAA now has Visa travelers checks--accepted at Disney???

I normally get my traveler's checks from AAA because as a gold member we get them free--but they have switched from American Express to AAA Visa. Are these universally accepted at Disney? I'm about to get my $$$ out of the credit union and need to know if I should pay them for traveler's checks or go with the free AAA ones.

All travelers checks are accepted everywhere, don't be fooled by the silly garbage that AE gives out about their's being the best.
They are not and most all will replace the same way, assuming you keep the numbers in a separate place so you can prove you bought them.
This is something that used to annoy me to no end when I worked in banking. You did not annoy me with your question, just triggered the annoyance.
If AAA sells them, they will be fine. AE has fallen out of favor with many businesses. They are, indeed, a true pain.
But, in answer to your question, yes, they will be accepted.

BTW, why not purchase/get them from your credit union? Some credit unions provide them without charge.

We USED THEM 2 YEARS AGO, with no problems,
We will use them again this year because doesn't charge for them.

The fact that Disney selected VISA for its credit card program probably doesn't hurt matters either!

I almost got them from the credit union last year but they DO charge for them, and AAA does not.

The fact that AAA has it's own Visa might count a lot more than Disney's switch to Visa.

My point was that if WDW accepted only one traveler's check, my pick would be the same one that is issued by the "official credit card of WDW".
