AAA, MYW w/dining, split stay? Help!

I want to:

- Use my AAA discount

- Have MYW 8-Day tickets with hopping, options and the dining plan

- Split my stay between Pop and CBR

What is the best way to do this?

If you want to use your AAA discount on a MYW package, tickets w/dining, then you have to call a AAA travel agent. They will also book your split stay, not a problem. I have booked a split stay w/ AAA for my Oct. trip.

Unless things have changed, which they seem to do pretty often, I was told that the issue with what you want to do has to do with the fact that dining must be part of a package. To have dining the whole time you would need to have at least a one day ticket tied to the second part of your reservation. This generally costs more, since the passes get cheaper per day as the number of days increase.

we bought a MYW w/dining package (rack rate) at ASMo for the first part of our trip (3 nights), and bought the park tickets for the entire trip....then, the last 2 nights, we are switching to WL (AAA rate) for room only. We'll have the dining til Weds night w/the package, and we are leaving Fri afternoon, so it's really only Thurs and Fri morning that we have to pay for meals. HTH!

We went through AAA. Got eight day hoppers for one, and one day hoppers for the other. We decided to save the one day hoppers for our next trip and upgrade them then.

We are doing a split stay with dining next year. 4 days WL and 3 days AKL. I ran the numbers every which way. For us, it came out the best to add the dining for 4 days and 8 day park hopper tickets to the first reservation at WL (with AAA discount). Then just do room only with AAA discount the second part of the week at AKL.

A one day park pass for all of us (DH DS 6, DD 4 & me) is $230 (no park hopping). The dining doesn't save that much money over the 3 last days to make up the difference.

Now if they come out with a free dining promotion (which I doubt they will...) I would try to upgrade the AKL part to a package too. Then it would be worth the money to pay $230 for park tickets.
