Hi, I call the AAA office in bakersfiels (where my sis lives) today and they told me that they don't sell any theme park tickets. Does anyone know any AAA office at a different branch sells discounted tickets and if so how much. Our AAA has a pretty good deal if you buy them there but they only sell WDW and theme parks on the east coast. Thanks, Gina

I would think, that since you have a month, you would have time to order tickets thru your local AAA. They may not have them there in the office, but you should be able to order them. You could also consider ordering them from www.getawaytoday.com. Their shipping charges are bit high, but you can will call the tickets and pick them up when you get there, it will save you a couple bucks.

I had checked the AAA in Garden City NY and was told they do not sell DL tickets. She did not know why this is. You cannot get them on the AAA website either :confused3

Sounds like lazy agents to me. They are a travel agency. I bet you if you walked in and wanted to spend a couple thousand booking a trip, they would be able to get you tickets to Disneyland. But, because you want to just spend a couple hundred getting tickets its not worth their time.

Well, here in central CA they do! We just bought 3 day hoppers for $149. Hope that helps!

This is also who I spoke with on the east coast and this is what they said:

Thanks for taking the time to contact us. Please be advised that each AAA club is independently owned and operated. Theme park ticket availability varies from club to club.
The AAA New York does not sell Disneyland tickets. However, a member can go to a branch office in California to purchase discount tickets. For nationwide branch information, please click here: http://www.aaany.com/branch_offices.asp?SrcID=03

Then I called Ca and she said we don't sell theme park tickets and I answered some what surpised "You don't?" and she said "Absolutely not!" :confused3

My AAA office in Mountain View, CA advertises that they sell 3 day park hoppers for $149 ($119 child) and 2 day park hoppers for $116 ($96 child). I believe it is the same as the DL online price, except that the AAA tickets include parking.

Yes, that's the prices with additional savings for 4- and 5-day hoppers.

I think your best bet is to order them online. It's free shipping, and you won't have to deal with this AAA hassle your getting.

Incidentally, we have the same problem in Canada. Our CAA offices will book the DL packages, but will not sell the individual hoppers on their own. We can get anything WDW though :sad2:
