So, I was just messing around this am, debating on becoming a AAA member to see if I could get my current $99/nt rate at POP (arr. 5/26, 4nts)to decrease by being a AAA member. On the AAA website I used the "Isn't It Time For a Disney Vacation" link, then the "Plan Your Disney Dream Vacation" link, filled in the next three steps of personal info, then came to the "Quick Search For Travel", clicked the "Hotel Only" link, filled in the dates we already have reserved, then selected "Disney" from the hotel chain selection. Most of the Disney hotels were then listed with thumbnail photos and a "From $XXX" price. I clicked on the "Ft. Wilderness Resort" selection because it's price was $64. Now, I know this is a campground, but the thumbnail shows the cabins and the description states "...log homes offer a rustic escape..." so I'm thinking "can this price possibly be for the actual cabins?" So I try the "Book Hotel" link. The next screen brings me to a "Rules for this rate" screen which states "$246 USD for 4 nights May 26 through May 29" I continue to the next screen, fill it out and "continue to payment screen" where I figure I'm going to find a total price, but it still wants more personal info, including CC info. The next link to try is "Reserve This Room" Do I just have stars in my eyes and this is $246 for the entire 4 nt reservation, or is this actually $246/nt (being closer to $1000 for the 4 nts). Obviously, I don't really want this reservation if it is that much. My other thought was, if it is just the $246 for the entire stay, am I going to get there to check in and I've actually reserved a campsite? I'd look pretty stupid then...suitcases, but no tent. Sorry this is so long, but can anyone else give me their thoughts here? I know $246 would be a ridiculously low price for a cabin at Ft. Wilderness for 4 nts. Thanks!
