If you buy an annual pass or renewal exchange certificate at AAA be sure to KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and bring it with you to WDW!!!
I received one as a gift from my mother 4 years ago that was lost, then found again a few months ago. When I went to redeem it to renew my AP earlier this month I was originally told it would be honored after I brought back proof of Florida residency. When I came back to the Guest Relations booth not only was it not honored it was CONFISCATED and stamped "VOID", with no compensation. They said it would have been accepted if I had the receipt. Of course, I never had a receipt, it was a gift.
I was told it was not properly activated at the AAA office and I would have to go back to that location (250 miles away) to resolve the issue.
So no, not what you would call a magical experience.
