AAA & DLH September 4th Night Free?

We already have a package booked through AAA for the DLH standard room, 5 nights, 4 day park hopper tickets and 4 character meals. We've paid 1/3 of it thus far. Our stay is Sept 12-19 or something around there (don't have my calendar in front of me).

I booked it in May, when there was no 4ht night free. Do I need to call my AAA rep and request this, or is it too late to get this feature?

If I can get this 4th night free, does it then give me a credit for the free night, or do I need to apply that 4th night cost to another extra add on that AAA sells (like Legoland tickets or more character meals, etc)? I was told that anything that alters my package for less than what I was quoted results in a change fee of like $25 or something. Since it's over $200 a night, it's quite a nice bonus to get that $200 free if I can.

My AAA lady isn't working until Monday otherwise I'd ask her now.

TIA!

I would like to know this too. Our CAA lady up here told us if we booked a package before the 4th night free came out we coud not get it after which I thought was sucky. I would like to know if it is any different down there.

If they can't give you the 4th night free, I would cancel and rebook on your own. Assuming of course that the cancellation fees are less than what you would be saving on the 4th night free promo. If the fees are actually $25.00, and you save $200.00 (or more) on the promo, you still save at least $175.00. If you tell the TA that, maybe they will be a little more lienient! ;)

Do contact your AAA agent early Monday! You will probably be charged the $25 change fee if rooms are a available on the promotion, but it should be worth it. Have them price out the difference between the whole package first though, because you may have had other off-season benefits (AAA discounted room rates, etc.) that won't be applied to this promotion. Also, I do believe AAA is only allocated a limited number of rooms, so you need to jump on this. I believe the standard rooms at DLH and PPH go first, although i believe Sept. is the least busiest of the months. I did just check the AAA web site, and it does look like the standard rooms at DLH are currently available on the promo for 9/12 or 9/13 check in for 5 nights. Good luck! Let is know what happens.

Hi! I'd love to know your outcome as well...I too booked a AAA package and left a few messages w/ my agent and is 'conveniently' not getting back to me. I think I've read it before, but the service has not been exactly good. I don't think I'd book with AAA again...it has saved me around $200 in all, but not worth the restrictions, etc. in my mind. I've always booked directly with Disney and have always been satisfied...
Good luck, I hope you can get it done!! :)

Has anyone actually booked the 4th night free for DLH through AAA?

My TA said that she contacted Disney and that they are only doing Good Neighbor hotels at this point in time?! I thought DL resort hotels were added a few days ago?

Pooper.

4th night free shows up on the AAA web site for DLH.

Weird. Thanks.

We live in Oregon, but I have a CAA (canadian instead of American) membership through British Columbia. So I can't access prices/membership info for Oregon stuff online. I can book the same deals as anyone else in person at AAA, but not online so I can't verify the online pricing.

I'm a bit frustrated since it's well over $200 a night and our TA says that DLH has no current plans to add the 4th night. I don't get it. :confused3 She didn't say when she talked to them, but I emailed her Friday as soon as I found out they opened it up (on like Thursday?) and heard back today from her. I assume her info would've been up to date, but obviously not correct...Grr.

Yes, she should be able to access it now!! Hope it works out and you get the extra night, otherwise I would figure out the difference to cancel and rebook!

Andrea
