But can you not book with AAA and get the promo codes. A good TA will get you the best discount. An AAA TA should be able to book for any promo including their own if that happens to be best. And if you book with them you would get their perks.

We use AAA at US for food and merchandise.

Yes. A good AAA travel agent should be able to apply general public discounts and personal PINs to a Disney reservation, just as any travel agent can.

I am a AAA member and a Disney Visa card holder.

I just recently got off the phone making reservations for the "Around The World at Epcot" Segway tour and didn't get a discount at all with AAA. However I did get a 20% discount with my Disney Visa card.

I also booked the "Behind The Seeds" tour at Epcot and again didn't get a discount with AAA but got 15% off with the Disney Visa card.

I haven't really had much luck getting anything fantastic with my AAA card but rather the Disney Card. Also, if you use your Disney card you can redeem points for Disney Dollars and use them on your next trip (if you frequently travel to the World).
