AAA Discounts

Hi,
I was just wondering about how much is the AAA discount,Iwas planning to travel 10/18-25/09,staying at WL. I was hoping for a PIN or offer by now but no luck. Do you have to book through AAA or can you book through Disney or Dreams unlimited? Any info would be appreciated.

If you are booking a package it has to be done through AAA but a room only can be done through Disney if there is availability.

If you go to the AAA website you can check the room rates for your time frame. I'm planning a trip from Oct 19 - 25 myself and was just checking the AAA rates. The AAA rate for standard view room at WL for your dates was $261 vs. $290 rack rate. They have other room rates listed, but no club level. I've made room only reservations on the AAA website and through Disney CRO as well. I assume you could also make room only reservations through a AAA agent, although I haven't done that myself.

the rates/discount changes depending on when you are going, all discounts are off the room portion of the package only
value season 8/9 thru 10/1 and 11/29 thru 12/17 you get 15% off for value and deluxe and 20% off for moderate and deluxe villa and fort wilderness
regular season 10/2 thru 11/28 you get 15% off value and fort Wilderness, 20% off disney Deluxe villa and 10% off Deluxe
Peak season you get 10% at any resort (dates already passed2/13 thru 4/18)
Summer season 5/22 thru 8/8 you get 10% off at the value and moderate
Holiday season 12/18 thru 12/31 0%
Also remember that you will only get the AAA discount if there are AAA rooms available, just because there are rooms at the resort does not mean you will get the discount, they only get so many rooms they can use
